Warning: This action will format your GPS ROM/OS.

1. Download Yformat, extract and copy into the root of your SD card and turn on your GPS. Remove SD card when finished. Delete Yformat.fmt from SD card.

Format your GPS

2. Download 82A ROM, extract and copy into the root of your SD card and turn on your GPS. Once finished, pop-up screen will ask to remove SD card and press OK to restart. Delete 82A ROM from SD card.

3. Download Gxxxxx , extract and copy Gxxxxx folder into your SD card.
(it only contain basemap, for MFM pls download from map update location)

To run it, navigate to Setting > Nav Path > find \SDMMC\Gxxxxx\RunGMXT\Gxxxxx.exe, then click on SAVE button on top.

edit mapking malsingmap header

After download malsingmap in .G12 format (Mapking’s R12 map for PPC) as in your Mapking, please use the HEX editor to change to map header to suite the Mapking.

Hardware Required:

SPECTEC SDW-821 802.11b/g SDIO WiFi Card (see details of card at below link:)

Installation Process:

Download the file from the below link & follow the Installation process mentioned below:

1. Wlan11g.cab

2. ResidentFlash.rar

ResidentFlash.rar contains a folder named wifi & below mentioned files inside the wifi folder:

microWlan11g.dll

microWlan11g.rom

Installation Process:

1. Install Wlan11g.cab file in the GPS Unit by running it from the explorer. Kindly Visit http://bit.ly/DXGPS to see how to enter into explorer.exe

2. Extract wifi folder from the ResidentFlash.rar archive & paste it to the root of ResidentFlash

3. Add an entry to the registry: HKLMinitLaunch998=ResidentFlashwifiixwifi.exe

CeRegEditor software can be used to add the above value into the registry. More halp for editing registry can be taken from http://bit.ly/DXGPS

After following the above 3 steps, you have set your GPS Unit to run WiFi in it using SPECTEC SDW-821 SDIO WiFi Card.

Whenever the Wifi Card is inserted in the SD Card Slot, the connection automatically appears in the right bottom corner & will show the available wifi networks.

Connect to the desired network & enjoy using wifi on the GPS Unit.

I have tested the WiFi card on both 5Inch & 4.3Inch GPS Devices. It works perfectly fine.

GAPI - Enable game in Miopocket (GPS)

For GPS running Miopocket.

- Navigate to Setting > GAPI (in Miopocket),

- Simply choose "Install alternate GAPI driver" from the initial GAPI menu,

- then choose GAPI Tests or GAPI setup to select your device.

- GAPI Setup > under start tap > Select Device > Choose "YFGPS 79C-1, CE 5.0, 480x272" at the bottom.

GPS Speaker Mute Problem

For GPS speaker mute problem/ no sound, please navigate to setting > FM Transmitter, then untick the FM.

How to connect GPS bluetooth with phone.

For GPS Model C843,C943,C942,C951

1. click "Open" button of "bluetooth" window and then open will be"close"

2. and then the first 3 buttons will be valid.

3. normally, please click the 3rd button"pair" enter pair window.

4. you will see some old conectted phone's name listed in the list.

5. you can delete them via click that DEL button. then click the first button to enter pair mode.

6. normally, you can get a PURONG bluetooth device name, and ask the password, input 8888 normally.

Mxpking -- Can't load map problem

Some users may face "Cannot Load Map errors" Do not fret, you may follow this easy step by step guide HERE

1. First insert SD card and you should see the following folders

2. Then go to folder MagaNavi

3. Next go to USER folder

4. Delete off ppgnavi12.cfg (Favorites retained) or all files in USER folder as well (Favorites gone). (it will auto created when run Mapking.)

Restart the device and Your MxpKing will work as per normal.
